Photogami (To live For One Thousand Years) - 2018
In Photogami(To live For One Thousand Years), I combine photography with sculpture by questioning the physical properties of the photograph. By folding silver gelatin emulsion coated paper, I transform paper into sculptural work. Origami symbolises an activity from my stressless childhood. I am going back to the beginning of a painless zen process of making art.
